Dear John,

Please accept this letter as my formal resignation as engineering manager with ABC Company.

I appreciate the valuable experience that I gained while with the Company for the past three years.  However, after very careful consideration I believe that my decision to leave is in the best interest of my long term career goals.

My last day with the Company will be April 21, 2008. If there is anything I can do during my final two weeks to make this transition process go smoothly, please feel free to ask.

I wish you and ABC Company continued success.

Sincerely,

Sam Rogers

Dear Diana,

Please accept this letter as my formal resignation as engineering manager from Bigco.

Being part of the Bigco management team has been a wonderful experience, and I've enjoyed working with such a talented group.  This was a difficult decision, and I wish Bigco the greatest success in the future.

My last day with the Company will be May 20th, 2008. I will work closely with Tom Smith over the next two weeks to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Sincerely,

Jack Anaya
